Think of ways you may be able to use Flickr in the classroom or in your work and share your ideas. What issues might you face?
Perhaps it could be used to provide a visual prompt for journal writing, to show students actual examples of landforms, geographical features, and in science to provide images of animals, plant life, and other areas of study. I think the copyright issue might make it frustrating and more time consuming.
As with any copy written material, if it is properly cited, it can be used for projects or other works. As educators, we have a little more leeway with regard to using copy written material as long as it is used for educational purposes.
